Finished my first half marathon in March of 2007; my second in October.

Short-Term Running Goals:

I'm trying to decide if I want to do a marathon this year. Part of me knows I can, the other part of me knows I have to be realistic with school, work, etc. I'd like to break 2:30 in my half marathon time as well.

Just married in May 2007. Back in school to finish my bachelor's while working full time - Aaagh!

Wore the Nike's today instead of the Mizuno's...wasn't sure how they'd work since last time my shins ached shortly in to a short run. They did fine, no shin pain which is good. Means I don't have to buy shoes (again) like I had thought.

My calves are still sore from Thursday...starting to think any jumping-type exercises need to be at a minimum or not at all, given how they feel after 3 days. Started feeling better around half way. Other than some hamstring fatigue toward the end, the run went well.

It was raining prior to the run but stopped during and picked up again after..which I was glad for cause I hate running in wet shoes.

Appreciating more and more that Monday's are a rest day...
