Wore the Nike's today instead of the Mizuno's...wasn't sure how they'd work since last time my shins ached shortly in to a short run. They did fine, no shin pain which is good. Means I don't have to buy shoes (again) like I had thought.
My calves are still sore from Thursday...starting to think any jumping-type exercises need to be at a minimum or not at all, given how they feel after 3 days. Started feeling better around half way. Other than some hamstring fatigue toward the end, the run went well.
It was raining prior to the run but stopped during and picked up again after..which I was glad for cause I hate running in wet shoes.
Appreciating more and more that Monday's are a rest day...
